I have several very popular websites about hip resurfacing, total hip replacement and knee replacement.  The websites are patient to patient resources, they are not controlled by medical companies, doctors or hospitals.  They are resources for patients to exchange information and learn because doctors often don't have time to explain problems and procedures to patients.

The more knowledge you have about a problem, the more questions you can ask.  Also the more likely you are to understand what the doctor is telling you.

I have severe aortic valve stenosis and am looking into valve replacement options. My ex husband had 2 heart attacks.  One when he was 47 resulting in several angioplasties and one when he was 62, resulting in a triple bypass.  I have done a lot of searching and learning via the internet. This website is a collection of that information.
